Interactive Clock Game: Help Kids Learn to Tell Time
Learning to read an analog clock is an essential life skill, but in a world surrounded by digital screens, it can be a tricky concept for kids to grasp! To make practicing fun, I’ve put together this Free Interactive Clock Game.
Whether your child is just starting to learn their hours, or they are ready to master the exact minutes, this game grows with them. It’s fully interactive—kids can use their mouse or finger to drag the hour and minute hands right on the screen.
How to Play:
- Pick a Difficulty:Â Choose between Whole Hours (easiest), Half & Quarter (intermediate), or Exact Minutes (advanced).
- Choose a Format:Â Toggle between “Digital” (like 3:45) to practice standard reading, or “Words” (like “a quarter to 4”) to help them understand conversational time.
- Move the Hands:Â Drag the red hour hand and blue minute hand on the clock face to match the target time.
- Check Your Answer:Â The game will automatically let you know when the hands are in the perfect spot!
