Maya: ¡Pax, chévere! Ahora que sabemos que la concha Spondylus es súper importante para los Valdivia, ¿por qué no hacemos un juego para aprender más?
Maya: Pax, cool! Now that we know the Spondylus shell is super important to the Valdivia people, why don’t we play a game to learn more?
Pax: ¡De una! ¿Qué tipo de juego, Maya? ¿Como encontrar el tesoro escondido?
Pax: Definitely! What kind of game, Maya? Like finding buried treasure?
Maya: Algo así. ¡Es un quiz! Yo pregunto y tú respondes. Si respondes bien, te doy un pedazo de panela.
Maya: Something like that. It’s a quiz! I ask, and you answer. If you answer correctly, I’ll give you a piece of panela.
Pax: ¡Panela! ¡Me apunto! ¡Pregúntame, pregúntame!
Pax: Panela! I’m in! Ask me, ask me!
Maya: Primera pregunta: ¿De qué color suele ser la concha Spondylus?
Maya: First question: What color is the Spondylus shell usually?
Pax: ¡Fácil! ¡Roja o naranja! A veces morada también, ¿no?
Pax: Easy! Red or orange! Sometimes purple too, right?
Maya: ¡Correcto! Aquí tienes tu panela. Segunda pregunta: ¿Dónde encontraban los Valdivia estas conchas?
Maya: Correct! Here’s your panela. Second question: Where did the Valdivia people find these shells?
Pax: Mmm… ¡En el mar! Pero… ¿en qué parte del mar? ¿Cerca de la costa?
Pax: Mmm… In the sea! But… which part of the sea? Near the coast?
Maya: ¡Más lejos! ¡En aguas más profundas! Tenían que viajar lejos para encontrarlas. Tercera pregunta: ¿Para qué usaban los Valdivia la concha Spondylus?
